Fei Protocol is a scalable and decentralized algorithmic stablecoin in Decentralized Finance (DeFi). This protocol uses a liquidity collateralized model to maintain a liquid market to ensure close trading of ETH/FEI and ETH/USD through direct incentives. The protocol maintains liquid secondary markets while remaining capital-efficient, full decentralized and with fair distribution of its assets. This blockchain project is Joey Santoro, Sebastian Delgado, and Brianna Montgomery, launched in December 2020.
This protocol is built on Ethereum comes with two coins. FEI, ERC-20 token, runs on a modified OpenZeppelin ERC-20 Burnable code while TRIBE is the governance token. It is secured by the power of the Ethereum network and Ethash Proof-of-Work. The TRIBE token is necessary for all in-protocol upgrades. In contrast, New TRIBE tokens are released through bonded FEI/TRIBE Uniswap LP tokens. Fei Protocol is well known as the stablecoin with fair distribution in DeFi space.
