Chris: First of all, thank you for taking the time to speak with me today. Can you start by telling us a bit about yourself and your role at Gotbit.io?
Pavel: Thanks for having me for this interview, mate. My name is Pavel, I'm 23 years old, graduated in fundamental math and programming, and have been in crypto for almost 3 years. My first big win was finding NBATopShot, and from that moment on, I've understood that web3 is the place for me; fun, vibrant, and can pay your rent. My current occupation in GotBit is as the Head of Consulting, and my job is to lead 2 teams of extremely professional degens for both NFTs and fungible tokens, making every founder's dream come true. Designing token economies, working on go-to-market strategies, doing deep math calculations to prove economic aspects, and even creating eye-catching pitch decks, from the very beginning, you are in the right hands if you come to us.
Chris: Great! Can you give us an overview of what GotBit.io does and how it differs from other projects out there?
Pavel: GotBit is a market-maker and hedge fund that has been operating in the market for over 5 years. Our unique service approach sets us apart from other companies, as we position ourselves at the intersection of agency and institutional approach. We provide a comprehensive suite of services, including liquidity provision, algorithmic trading strategies, and customised investment solutions tailored to each client's needs.
What differentiates us from other companies is our commitment to delivering high-quality, innovative solutions while maintaining a strong focus on customer satisfaction. Our team consists of highly skilled professionals with diverse backgrounds and expertise, which enables us to offer a wide range of services to cater to the varying needs of our clients.
Our main advantage is, of course, people who are a part of our family. We have over 30 professional traders, each of them is unique in their niche. By combining great accounting and the highest standard trading knowledge, we give our clients a unique experience which you can't find anywhere in the market.
Chris: Security is a major concern for anyone looking to trade or invest in cryptocurrencies. How do you guys ensure the security of its users' assets and data?
Pavel: At GotBit, we prioritise the security of our users' assets and data. To achieve this, we implement multiple layers of protection, including industry-standard encryption, secure storage of funds in cold wallets, and regular security audits. Additionally, we enforce strict access controls and have a dedicated team working on monitoring and updating our security measures to prevent any potential vulnerabilities.
Chris: Talking of customer support, which is one of my favorite topics: what steps do you take to ensure your users have a positive experience when using the platform?
Pavel: We understand the importance of customer support in providing a positive user experience. To this end, we have a dedicated support team available 24/7 to assist our users with any queries or issues they may have. Also, our traders are living all around the world to cover every timezone and provide smooth market making experience full day. We also invest in continuous training for our support staff, ensuring they stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the industry. Furthermore, we actively collect user feedback and use it to improve our platform and services.
Chris: What are some tools that allow your users to make informed decision in volatile investment market?
Pavel: GotBit offers users an array of resources to assist them in making well-informed decisions within the unpredictable investment market. Our trading analysts meticulously examine each client's request, helping to curb impulsive choices by providing tailored trading plans on a daily basis. In addition, we supply real-time market data, comprehensive analysis and research, customisable charts, and trading signals. Furthermore, we present educational materials that empower users to gain a deeper understanding of the market dynamics and cultivate their trading strategies.
Chris: What are some of the biggest challenges that you guys overcome and the lessons you have learned in doing business?
Pavel: Some of the biggest challenges we have faced include navigating regulatory changes, managing rapid growth, and staying ahead of the competition. We have learned the importance of being adaptable, constantly innovating, and maintaining a strong focus on customer satisfaction. These lessons have helped us grow and improve as a business.
Chris: In addition to your work at Gotbit.io, do you have any hobbies or interests that you enjoy pursuing in your free time?
Pavel: Yeah, I've been living and breathing web3 for a while now, and it can get intense. So, I've found that having hobbies outside of work is essential to maintain balance. Personally, I'm really into art, tennis, and boxing. I find that each of these activities provides a different kind of outlet for me, whether it's the creative expression of art, the competitive spirit of tennis, or the physical release of boxing. And yeah, my other goal is about growing own Twitter account, I've set myself the target of hitting 30k followers by the end of this year
Chris: Finally, what can we expect to see from Gotbit.io in the coming months and years? Are there any exciting new features or developments in the works?
Pavel: I'm really excited about what's in store for GotBit this year. We have some big plans, including opening four new offices on every continent, which is going to help us expand our reach and better serve our global client base. It's going to be a huge undertaking, but we're up for the challenge.
Additionally, we're launching an incredible acceleration program called The Odyssey. We believe that this program is going to make a real difference in the web3 space by helping young founders from all over the world build their dream projects and make the web3 ecosystem even better. We're really proud of what we're creating, and we can't wait to see the impact that this program will have on the industry.
