About Ampleforth Governance Token

Ampleforth Governance Token (FORTH) is a rebasing cryptocurrency and governance token that powers the Ampleforth protocol. This non-dilutive token facilitates the use AMPL ecosystem by giving its community the power to control the protocol. Users who hold FORTH in their wallets have a voting right on developmental agendas of the Ampleforth protocol. Alternatively, they can delegate their voting rights to a team of representatives who represent them in governance matters.

FORTH governance token was launched in April 2021 by Ampleforth Team and Coinbase as a “Day One Launch.” AMPL is an independent financial building block that does not depend on collateral or lenders of last resort.
