Anchor Protocol is a decentralized savings protocol that offers low-volatile yields on Terra stablecoin deposits. A diversified stream of staking rewards powers the Anchor rate. The protocol uses the Proof-of-Stake (PoS) consensus mechanism to secure its network. The mechanism makes it more stable and reliable as compared to the money market interest rates.
Anchor protocol uses The Anchor Token (ANC) as the governance token. ANC tokens can be deposited to create new governance polls, which can be voted on by users that have staked ANC.
