BSV stands for Bitcoin SV cryptocurrency. It is a hard fork of Bitcoin that was originally known as Bitcoin Cash. However, in November 2018, Bitcoin Cash forked again and a new currency Bitcoin Satoshi’s Vision has been created.
The main difference between Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, and Bitcoin SV is the block size. The BSV can boast the biggest block size of up to 128Mb. It was the idea of Chief Scientist Craig S. Wright and not everyone in the team supported it. As a result, he and his partners redirected their mining power and continued to work on Bitcoin SV.
The goal of this currency is to facilitate world money on the model described in the original Bitcoin Whitepaper. The size of the block eventually has been increased up to 2GB and Bitcoin SV has received another fork known as Genesis.
