About LBRY Credits

LBRY Credits (LBRY) is a platform that seeks to simplify the way consumers and producers distribute and access digital content. LBC is the native token for the platform. It credits the revenue generated from content consumers' activity to publishers. Publishers can alternatively use third-party processors. The platform uses a decentralized model to attain fairness and make the transactions free and open to all involved parties. Its protocol makes it easy for publishers to charge a fee to content consumers without censorship or a middleman's need. LBRY Credits was launched in 2018 by co-founders Jeremy Kaufman, Alex Grintsvayg, Lex Berezhny, and Brannon King. A decentralized and distributed network helps build a content-sharing crypto platform offering a level playing field for all participants.
