MediBloc is a blockchain-powered data management system. It provides an efficient information system for patients, doctors, and researchers on the healthcare data system. In MediBloc, the patients control their medical records, which are kept confidential according to HIPPA regulations. MedBloc was founded in 2017 by two doctors - Dr. Allen Wookyun Kho and Dr. Eunsol Lee.
The MediBloc system has two tokens – MED and MEDX. MED is the native cryptocurrency token. All investors/token holders of the MED tokens have a share of the MED. Token allocation to token holders is conducted yearly basis.5% and 3.5% of the allocation in the first and second years, respectively, is terminated after ten years.
