The person representing $CATALORIAN in this interview is Toshi — his real name, not a pseudonym. He serves as the project’s Community Builder and Strategist, playing a key role in shaping community engagement and overall direction.
Toshi holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Engineering and a Master’s degree in Physics.
He entered the crypto space in 2021, working full-time on marketing Terra ($LUNA) across South Asia. In 2023, he contributed as a Part-time Community Builder for Alephium ($ALPH) while also acting as a Listing Partner with centralized exchanges such as BitMart, LBank, and XT.com.
Between 2024 and 2025, Toshi has continued working as a full-time Listing Partner for multiple CEXs, a crypto trader, and a researcher focused on emerging projects. In parallel, he has served as a strategist for meme token communities, having supported six projects — one of which achieved notable success.
Notably, despite his extensive experience, Toshi had always worked under anonymity — until now.
Chris: Catalorian’s backstory reads like a sci-fi epic, blending space exploration, AI, and cosmic prophecy. What inspired this rich narrative, and how does it reflect the project’s long-term vision?
Toshi: Building a strong community is the hardest part — but it’s also the most important factor in making a project successful."
The CATALORIAN image was originally created by Elon Musk on September 14, 2024, to showcase the power of Grok (xAI’s LLM). He later reposted it with the caption: “NEW TV SERIES.”
Shortly after, someone anonymously deployed a token with a 1 billion supply on the Ethereum blockchain and got it listed on XT.com (a centralized exchange).
Then, the dumping began — the same person started selling tokens onto new buyers.
Later, Ryan McCormack, a crypto enthusiast, saw potential in the token's narrative. He stepped in as CTO, invested his own money, and invited some of his friends to help build a real community around it — with a genuine “Community First” approach, promising not to dump on supporters.
As the project reached a $2 million market cap, the community began actively promoting it across X (Twitter) Spaces. But soon, it was discovered that the original deployer had sniped a large portion of the supply using multiple wallets — and started dumping on the community when the market cap grew to $16M–$21M.
Eventually, a well-known speaker and venture capitalist joined the community. However, his true intent was just to farm the community for profit. He engaged in insider trading, which we caught during the high market cap phase.
Finally, during Q1 2025, when Trump’s tariff panic caused uncertainty and meme tokens were seen as risky, this VC sold his entire 6%+ holding between the $7M–$5M market cap range and abandoned the community.
Despite all this, only those truly committed to the vision remained — including myself and more than four AI professional developers who continued to support and build the project.
Chris: The Catalorian character seems to embody the spirit of exploration and self-defense. How did you come up with the idea of a 'Space Defense SpaceCat,' and what role does it play in your community’s culture?
Toshi: We did not come up with the Space Defense or Space Cat concept — it was Elon Musk who originally created it. However, it has become a core part of our community's culture and identity.
Our mission is to bring integrity back to the meme crypto space and protect the people entering it. Elon’s values—ethics, morals, and a vision for building something meaningful—deeply align with ours. This project is not just about financial gain, but about proving that it's still possible to build something powerful and honest, rooted in culture rather than greed.
We also strongly believe in the importance of freedom of speech, because only through open dialogue can real-world problems be understood and solved.
Chris: Grok and Leorian are at the core of Catalorian’s AI ecosystem. What makes Leorian different from other AI agents, and how does it enhance the user experience within your platform?
Toshi: All of our team members share Elon’s vision of creating ethical, helpful products that bring net positive value to people.
We’ve already developed two AI agents — Lyra and Leorian — each with unique personalities and different functional constraints, built using the xAI Grok API.
We’re also preparing to launch our AI agents on X very soon.
Currently, Leorian is live on our website. Our roadmap includes building multiple AI crypto tools and AI agents, with features such as:
- Image Generation (we already have it )
- Instant Token Creation
- Crypto Prediction Market Agent
- Video Generation
The plan is to offer many of these features for free, while premium tools will be accessible using the CATALORIAN token — adding strong utility to our ecosystem.
We also aim to launch Android and iOS applications that integrate with our AI agents for mass scalability.
BUT all of this requires serious support — in terms of resources, infrastructure, and obviously, funding. Delivering at this level is expensive and needs long-term backing
We are looking for someone who can back us in the long run.
Chris: How is it different from other AI agents?
Toshi: Most so-called AI agents in crypto are just vaporware run by an unethical set of people/influencers — they promise a lot but deliver nothing.
We are different. Our goal is to build real, useful AI products and eventually register a legitimate company or foundation in the USA.
Frankly, Coming from an engineering background, these other AI_AGENT can't deliver anything because AI hasn't developed yet so much. Sam Altman ( CEO - open AI) himself already said that they are still building AI_AGENT and open_AI has not yet delivered it.
So we will scale as AI will have ithe nfrastructure to build a real solid capacity to build AI_AGENT'S
Chris: You mention that the project is inspired by Elon Musk’s work on Grok. How closely does Catalorian follow his vision for AI, and have you considered collaborating with his companies, like X or Neuralink, in the future?
Toshi: When we say that this project is inspired by Elon, we mean that it was originally created by Elon himself using Grok’s AI. This is important because Grok is designed to be ethical and truth-driven—qualities that are absolutely essential in today’s rapidly changing world.
As for the question about collaborating with companies like xAI or Neuralink—we want to be realistic. Claiming that we will collaborate with such companies without any basis would be naive and unrealistic.
However, if we ever receive a direct or indirect opportunity to collaborate with any of Elon’s companies—especially xAI or X (formerly Twitter)—that would be the greatest milestone this project could ever achieve.
Chris: Catalorian is described as a community-driven platform. What are some of the most creative or impactful contributions you've seen from your community so far?
Toshi: Catalorian is a 100% community-driven meme project. We’ve brought forward many creative ideas, and our community members have worked hard to implement them with the limited resources they’ve had, both in the past and now.
We even created a " CATALORIAN MINI TV SERIES "—that is, AI-generated mini-episodes of Catalorian—inspired by Elon’s tweet. And the best part? The people who created it did it completely for free, without expecting a single dollar in return.
One of our core members, a father of six from the USA, dedicated six months of his life to help build the strong foundation of this community. Despite carrying a heavy personal burden, he would tirelessly attend four to five X-Spaces a day, just to get a two-minute speaking slot to introduce Catalorian to new audiences.
He did all this out of pure belief in the vision. Yet, because he comes from a Black background, he often faced bias. There was skepticism and external pressure, with people assuming we were just “another scam.” But his resilience and dedication kept pushing Catalorian forward.
Chris: You mention supporting organizations that fight against human and animal abuse. Can you share more about this aspect of your mission and why it’s important to your team?
Toshi: No, Mr. Chris
We completely understand that supporting animals is important, and we do care.
However, we never claimed that our main goal is to support animals (especially dogs and cats), because many organizations misuse funds for personal benefit and are often corrupt.
We are a utility-driven project under the umbrella of a meme theme, and our core mission is to build real utility — not just rely on emotional narratives.
That said, we still plan to make donations — once we reach a decent market cap.
Because let’s be honest, donating $10K isn’t a big deal when a meme project touches $500M–$1B+ market cap.
Chris: You aim to become a top 10 meme coin through organic growth. What specific strategies are you using to achieve this, and how do you measure success along the way?
Toshi: After being betrayed by venture capitalists, we are currently following two key strategies:
STRATEGY 1:
We are working in the background to raise funding — either through self-support or by attracting the attention of an ethical hedge fund.
Because without serious backing, it's nearly impossible to reach the goal of becoming a Top 10 meme project.
STRATEGY 2:
We still have 40+ active cult community members and which is a strong base at this early stage (speaking as someone who has built many communities). Also we keep track of who are these 40+ people asking them their nation and to understand what is our reach globally
Out of these, 11 members possess serious skill sets — including:
- Senior Software Developer 1
- AI Engineers 3 ( 1 of them is a senior AI developer )
- Blockchain Developer 1
- Liquidity Managers 1
- Professional AI Artists 2
- Professional Traders 3
Our current approach is to build a strong community by inviting people who are genuinely passionate and willing to work for FREE using their available skills.
(Because if someone truly wants to make a name or succeed in crypto, they must learn to work for free — and the ones who did, are the ones who made it big over time.)
We’re actively joining X Spaces to share our vision, and we’ve created a separate Telegram group for private meetings with those who are truly convinced by this project.
Our strategy is flexible, and we adapt based on the changing market conditions.
And yes, some parts of our strategy can’t be shared publicly, to protect the project from insider trading risks.
Chris: The term 'Meownomics' hints at a unique economic philosophy. Can you share more about this approach and how it shapes the financial ecosystem within the Catalorian project?
Toshi: MEOWNOMICS is just a unique, fun term we created — similar to how we called our roadmap and whitepaper the "Space Paper".
Everyone uses words like Tokenomics and Whitepaper, but since we’re a meme project with real utility, we like to add some creativity and humor — because fun is an essential part of our identity.
Our AI CATALORIAN series is also coming soon as part of that fun element.
Chris: How does it change the financial system?
Toshi: We never claimed or promised that we would change the entire financial system.
But what we do aim for is to build something so successful over time that it proves a point — that even in a gambling-driven market, where over 10,000 tokens are deployed daily (most of them scams by unethical people), real and meaningful projects can still be created by everyday people.
When people say memes have zero intrinsic value, our response is:
“If something starts with zero value, value can always be added.”
Most projects launch by making big promises — "we'll do this, we’ll do that" — and then get stuck in those expectations.
We’re different: we’ll continue building useful tools, integrating real features, and connecting everything through our token.
We want to challenge the existing financial transition by showing that tokens (any token whether it is a meme token) can be the new financial instruments.
And we say this boldly:
"Either accept this shift — or reject it."
Chris: If Catalorian achieves its mission to become a top 10 meme coin, how do you envision the project evolving over the next 5 to 10 years?
Toshi: Once CATALORIAN reaches the Top 10 meme coin status, we plan to launch a second token, which we'll call "TOKEN X" for the sake of this interview.
However, the real and core token will always remain $CATALORIAN, because it holds the historic value — being the first meme character created by Elon Musk himself using AI.
Both tokens will be deeply integrated.
Chris: Why launch TOKEN X?
Toshi: Because the current $CATALORIAN contract is burnt and renounced, meaning we cannot change or upgrade its code to add new features.
To continue innovating and building more utility, TOKEN X is essential.
Once we enter the Top 10 meme coin phase, we will accelerate this project at a speed the space has never seen.
We will start a global outreach to form a community of AI cult developers, artists, and creators, inviting them with a simple message:
"PLEASE COME HERE AND DO WHATEVER YOU WANT"
Examples of what we envision:
1. On-chain dating apps
2. Prestige DApps for anonymous journalists ( like you and other's) – helping them stay safe in their critical work
3. Free DApp tools for people who can’t afford expensive development
And many more serious new ideas 💡
In the next 5 years, some early contributors may move on — and just like Ethereum, we’ll continue evolving by changing and improving leadership, handing responsibilities to new passionate builders.
One thing is certain:
If we reach a $1B+ market cap, CATALORIAN will challenge all meme and utility projects
(except Layer-1s like Ethereum and the OG Bitcoin $BTC).
In the long run (5–10 years), we aim to build the CATALORIAN FOUNDATION.
As the current leaders begin to step aside, we’ll pass on the torch to a new generation of ethical, smart, and capable leaders.
Because that’s what true decentralization looks like.
