Interview with Educa360

How's everybody doing? This time around we are talking to — Fernando M. Sierra Sánchez, General Manager of Educa360.

Chris: Greetings! Thank you for taking the time with me. Educaverse and Educa360 are impressive businesses having education in its core. What exactly does each of these projects represent? What are their mission (s)?

Fernando: Educaverse is the first virtual educational platform built with blockchain technology, aimed at educational institutions, teachers and students.

Educaverse provides an infrastructure to create and host educational content of all kinds, in persistent and shared environments. Users will have tools to create educational experiences such as 3D rooms or classrooms, events or immersive training programs, fairs, congresses, etc. They will also have the possibility of uploading their own content to the marketplace and monetizing it by making it available to the entire educational community.

Educaverse team's goal is to unify and promote a wide range of international educational offer through a metaverse accessible to any user, for this reason, we work together with the educational community and have the support and validation of partners such as: AWS Edtech, EducAcción , Espacios Maestros, Vodafone, Ready Player Me, Aurinext, Mozilla Hub, Techmakers, CloudCanary, EpicKids... iEducando, Educo among others!

The main mission of Educaverse is to create the largest decentralized virtual and immersive ecosystem specifically for learning and training, offering virtual spaces optimized for an educational context and interconnected, which will enhance the way in which educators and students relate, enabling more complete communication and improving the efficiency of the learning process

Educa360 is a product and brand created by a startup under the name Educa360 S.L. Founded in 2021 by experts in the innovation, technology and education sector with the purpose of offering innovative solutions and tools to the Edtech sector.

Educa360 mission is to get millions of users around the world and of all intellectual levels to learn and have fun thanks to our ecosystem of edtech products and services, clearly identifiable by their innovation, ease of use and sociability.

Chris: Fascinating, can you detail what students can do through Educaverse and what teachers can do?

Fernando: Educaverse users will be able to explore the virtual space to discover the wide educational offer available (variety of knowledge areas, any educational stage, virtual, face-to-face, or blended). They will access a digital community that offers the opportunity for new forms of learning and that unifies a wide international educational offer in a metaverse, in a virtual place.

Among some of the functionalities for educational institutions:

Create educational experiences and virtual classrooms, without space restrictions space.
Create courses, training programs and didactic guides.
Manage your virtual educational institution
Offer your students a wide number and variety of educational of educational experiences, training materials training materials and your own articles.

Entities, teachers, and students will have specific tools and a virtual space to teach and monetize courses and immersive learning experiences, for this we offer our own marketplace based on Smart Contracts for trading with NFT items.

Chris: Talking of the latter — how sophisticated the system is? How rigid are the entering parameters for teachers? Talk about functionality also.

Fernando: From Educa360 we provide specific training for teachers and educational institutions, we have our own trainers and collaborators in charge of it, we also provide periodic webinars where we help teachers to solve doubts about the use of the platform. Our tools such as Educamaker, are designed to be used without previous knowledge of programming or 3D elements, in addition, they do not even require installation, they are web tools.

Chris: And now speaking of the Educaverse — I watched the intro video and it blew me away! What do you think is a crucial factor for people to consider trying out your educational metaverse?

Fernando: Educaverse is a metaverse designed and built for the education sector, with property rights and accessible from any device, including virtual reality devices, through web 3.0, with tools and content adapted to education, which will lead

students to another understanding level of formative experiences, a more significant and experiential level. Similarly, it will allow educators and institutions to have new ways to promote, develop and monetize their services and products.

Educaverse offers benefits to the educational community in a variety of areas, according to its users, the main benefits are:

Chris: What are the key dates for both projects? What's big in the pipeline for 2023?

Fernando: By the end of 2023 we expect to have the alpha of Educaverse, we are currently in full development of many of the functionalities of the platform.

In Educa360 we are in a process of expansion of Edtech services, this 2023 will bring many new features.

Chris: Would you mind revealing who the founders are and how the idea came around? What prompted it?

Fernando: The founders of the project are Fernando Sierra, Fran M. Roncero, Antonio Sierra and Adriano Pérez.

The idea emerged through the technological validation process carried out over several years with Educa360. Educaverse is the evolution towards the open and interoperable metaverse.

The promoters in collaboration with Educational Institutions have developed, in dozens of private, concerted and public educational centers, programs for the implementation of new technologies. Therefore, they have verified the feasibility and effectiveness of the technological solution used by Educa360, successfully concluding towards the next stage: Educaverse
