SpaceM blends GameFi, SocialFi, RealFi, and CrowdFi under one roof - Interview with Igor Sinkovec, CEO & Co-Founder of SpaceM


How’s everybody doing? This time around we are talking to Igor Sinkovec – CEO & Co-Founder of SpaceM

Igor, co-founder and co-owner of SpaceM, has been an entrepreneur for nearly 30 years. A seasoned professional in real estate and a blockchain enthusiast for the past six years, he’s invested in over 150 crypto projects. With expertise in token metrics, Igor discovered a true passion for tokenizing real-world assets (RWA). He’s also a proud father to three wonderful daughters.

Joining Igor in this venture is his co-founder and co-owner, Mladen Babic. Mladen brings 25 years of entrepreneurial experience to the table, with over a decade immersed in crypto and blockchain technology. Like Igor, he’s a real estate expert and a dedicated father, raising three amazing sons.

Together, Igor and Mladen bootstrapped SpaceM with their own funds, building the project from the ground up without relying on early or major investors.

Chris: What inspired the creation of SpaceM, and how did the concept evolve into this all-in-one Web3 hub?

Igor: Our main inspiration a few years ago was to build something truly easy to use, a gateway into crypto for everyone. We saw a big gap: entering the blockchain space was just too complicated. Whether you wanted to play, learn, earn, invest, or simply have fun, it required navigating across multiple disconnected platforms.

That frustration pushed us to create SpaceM, an all-in-one ecosystem that brings together the key pillars of Web3: Social, Gaming, Fiat-Crypto solutions, and RealFi through tokenized real-world assets. The idea was simple: build one seamless hub where anyone can earn, learn, play, and invest, without needing to be an expert.

Igor: The “aha” moment came when we realized all our pillars, GameFi, SocialFi, RealFi, CrowdFi, and Education, share one goal: helping users earn and create value. Instead of spreading these opportunities across disconnected platforms, we decided to build one unified ecosystem under a single token and identity. That’s how SpaceM was born.

Chris: The SpaceM Node system is a core element. What makes your passive income model sustainable over time, and how is it different from similar node-based projects that struggled with inflation?

Igor: Yes, the SpaceM Node system is one of our most powerful pillars, and it’s built for long-term sustainability, not hype. Our Super Node NFTs are programmed to generate daily passive income for over 4 years, but that’s just the beginning.

Chris: The fusion of Play-to-Earn with SocialFi is intriguing — how do you plan to keep gameplay and social interactions both fun and profitable?

Igor: The fusion of Play-to-Earn with SocialFi has been one of our most exciting challenges and I think we’re doing something really unique here. Our focus has always been on making sure that what users do inside our ecosystem is both fun and financially rewarding.

Right now, we already have several parts of the SpaceM ecosystem live and in use. On our Social Platform, users can post content, generate AI-driven posts, and engage with others and it’s not just for likes. They’re earning credits that will be directly convertible 1:1 with $SPACEM tokens.

Inside that same platform, we’ve integrated a minigame, SpaceM Pinball, where we host weekly leaderboard events with real rewards. On top of that, we just launched a Telegram mini-app where users can level up, earn XP, and qualify for our upcoming airdrop based on daily logins, game activity, and referrals. It’s simple, viral, and rewarding.

What ties it all together is this: we’ve built systems that reward people for being active. Whether you’re playing, creating, or referring, your time actually translates into value.

Chris: Transforming viral posts into NFTs sounds like a creator's dream. How does SpaceM's SocialFi ensure content ownership and monetization for creators while preventing spam or low-effort content?

Igor: Great question. SpaceM’s SocialFi is built to give creators real ownership and the most genuine path to monetization. Creators will be able to turn their viral content into NFTs and sell it directly to their fans, cutting out middlemen and keeping full control over their work.

To ensure quality, we’ve implemented a system where SpaceM Credits are required to mint content as NFTs. These credits are either earned through real engagement or purchased with $SPACEM, which filters out spam and low-effort content.

Igor: Oh, this is my life’s passion! I’ve spent nearly 30 years in real estate, and bringing that experience into Web3 through SpaceM is something I’m incredibly excited about. Tokenizing real-world assets isn’t just a feature for us, it’s a core pillar of the future we’re building.

In the past few weeks alone, we’ve expanded fast, and we’re opening our own office space in Slovenia, not just for our core team, but as a hub for Web3 builders, creators, and partners to connect and collaborate.
