Sora is a new economic system aiming at decentralizing the concept of central banks. The system has a network that works with a parachain blockchain. The blockchain connects to the Polkadot ecosystem and relay chain with built tools focused on decentralized finance (DeFi).
SORA Network provides tools for decentralized applications that use digital assets, e.g., bridging tokens to other blockchains, atomic token swaps, and creating programmatic rules involving digital assets. The Sora Decentralized Economic, Autonomous, uses the XOR token as the base token for all other tokens. The XOR is responsible for earning more tokens, reputation in the ecosystem, funding proposals, having a Stake, and running a validator in v2.
