Juan Esp: Fue la necesidad que teníamos en nuestro país en el 2017 de tener un producto propio (criollo), se levantaban en el 2017 diferentes proyectos en Sur américa como Luka, Chauca y otros. Era más difícil éramos muy pocos hablar de criptomonedas era algo mítico y nadie sabía lo que hacíamos incluso llegaron a rechazar la idea de Scolcoin porque no era como los internacionales. Mis ideas republicanas y con 3 personas que deseamos algo propio intentamos compilar en varios algoritmos, teníamos la idea, pero no veíamos como, incluso lo confieso me encantaba la idea de la privacidad monero era mi ideal, luego se sumó varios amigos con empresas quien dieron el impulso el capital para montar los nodos semillas por eso no pensamos algo comercial porque éramos conscientes que en esa época no se podía confundir con una scam. Llego el 3 de enero 2018 cuando ya estábamos listos para iniciar nuestro maint la blockchain de SCOLCOIN, fue mítico mi esposa no lo podía creer que volviera salir del PC no dormía no descansaba no miraba al bebe, estaba inmerso desde 1 año atrás en el diseño, programación y documentación del proyecto. Descanse cuando salió el bloque génesis final y se anunció en los diarios locales latinos de cripto, lo demás es historia.
Chris: Was ScolCoin always a solidarity project? Why were there no participants to it in 2018?
